Install Nudge
Nudge isn't on the Chrome Web Store yet, so for the beta you load it yourself. It takes about a minute.
- Unzip the download
You'll get a folder called
nudge-extension. Keep it somewhere it won't be deleted, like your Documents folder: the browser loads Nudge from it. - Open your extensions page
Paste this into the address bar and press Enter. (Brave, Edge and Arc accept it too.)
chrome://extensions - Turn on Developer mode
It's a switch in the top-right corner of that page.
- Click “Load unpacked”
Choose the
nudge-extensionfolder you unzipped. Nudge opens a welcome page when it's installed. - Pin the owl
Click the puzzle-piece icon next to the address bar, then the pin next to Nudge. Now open a token on any supported DEX.
What Nudge can access, and why
| Supported DEX sites | To read which token you're looking at from the page address, show the owl panel, and pause the swap button during a cool-off. Nudge doesn't read your balances or your wallet. |
|---|---|
| DexScreener and GoPlus | To fetch public market and contract data for the token. Only the token address is sent. |
| Storage | To keep your settings and exit plans in your browser. |
| Alarms and notifications | To check your exit plans every minute and alert you when a level hits. |
| Active tab | So the toolbar popup can check the token on the tab you're looking at when you click it. |
Updating
Download the new zip, replace the files in your nudge-extension folder, then click the reload arrow on Nudge's card in chrome://extensions. Your settings and plans are kept.
Good to know
Chrome may remind you that developer-mode extensions are turned on. That's normal for extensions loaded this way. Nudge never asks for your seed phrase, never connects to your wallet and never trades for you. If anything ever asks for your seed phrase, it isn't Nudge.
